Overview

The Image with Text Icons section in the Surge theme allows you to highlight key benefits, features, or selling points using a combination of icons and short text descriptions. This is commonly used to showcase things like shipping benefits, guarantees, product highlights, or brand values in a clean and visually engaging format.

You can easily add, edit, and reorder these icons directly from the Theme Editor, making it simple to customize the messaging to match your brand.

The example below shows how icons and text can be added and arranged within the section.

How to Add Image with Text Icons

1. Open the Theme Editor

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes

2. Find the Surge theme

3. Click Customize

2. Add the Section

1. In the left sidebar, click Add section

2. Select Image with Text Icons

3. Drag the section to your preferred position on the page

3. Configure the Section

Once the section is added, you can customize the main settings:

• Heading – Add a title for the section

• Subheading / Description – Optional supporting text

• Layout settings – Adjust alignment or spacing if available

4. Add Icons and Text

1. Inside the Image with Text Icons section, click Add block

2. Select the Icon block

3. Configure the block settings:

   • Icon – Choose from the available icon options

   • Heading – Add a short title (e.g., Free Shipping)

   • Text – Add a short description (e.g., On all orders over $50)

4. Repeat the process to add more icons.

5. Reorder the Icons

You can drag and drop the icon blocks in the left panel to change the display order.

6. Save Your Changes

Once everything looks good:

1. Click Save in the top-right corner

2. Preview your store to confirm the icons appear as expected

Tips for Best Results

• Keep text short and clear so icons remain easy to scan

• Use icons to highlight key trust signals such as shipping, returns, or guarantees

• Limit the number of icons to avoid clutter and maintain visual balance
