Styling The Section
The FAQ section is a powerful tool to quickly address your customers’ most common questions, reducing support queries and building buyer confidence.
It helps clarify policies, shipping details, product usage, and returns, all in one easily accessible place.
Adding an FAQ to your store’s navigation improves user experience, reduces friction during checkout, and ensures customers get instant answers without needing to contact support.
In your Shopify Admin, go to Online Store > Pages.
Click Add Page.
Give your page a name. For example: FAQ or Frequently Asked Questions.
In the Content box, add your questions and answers. For example:
Q: How long does shipping take?
A: Orders are usually delivered within 5–7 business days.
Q: Do you accept returns?
A: Yes, we accept returns within 30 days of purchase.
(Tip: Use short headings for questions and simple, clear answers.)On the Theme template dropdown (usually on the right side), choose page.faq.
Click Save.
✅ You now have a FAQ section!
Your FAQ section won’t be visible unless you link it in your store’s navigation.
In your Shopify Admin, go to Online Store > Navigation.
Decide where you want to add it, usually in the Main Menu or Footer Menu.
Click on the menu (for example, Main Menu).
Click Add menu item.
Name it “FAQ” or “Help” (whatever you prefer).
Under Link, choose Pages > FAQ (the page you just created).
Click Add, then Save menu.
✅ Your FAQ section is now linked to your store’s menu so customers can find it easily.
Depending on your theme, you can make your FAQ section more engaging:
Use collapsible questions
This allows customers to click a question to expand the answer. You can also keep the first questions expanded to encourage users to check more answers.Organize by categories (e.g., “Shipping,” “Returns,” “Products”).
Add icons or styling in the editor to make it easier to scan.
If your theme includes a FAQ section in the Online Store Editor, you can also design a more interactive layout there.
(Tip: Keep answers short, clear, and customer-friendly, no jargon!)
